MAKE IT INTERACTIVE
The TEACHED films are provocative conversation starters. After each film, you can have your audience break into small groups to consider the issues or brainstorm solutions for change. Bring in guest speakers, organize a panel discussion, hold a debate and/or hand the mic to students and parents to share their personal stories.
SCREEN ONE FILM AT A TIME
Screening each film individually gives you time to deeply immerse your audience in the issues each one addresses, e.g. the school-to-prison pipeline, education equality, tech diversity, etc. You may consider concluding your event with group activities and action planning.
SCREEN SEVERAL FILMS TOGETHER
Our short films can be mixed and matched depending on your goals and audience. The TEACHED films are about 10-20 minutes each so you can screen several at a time, depending on the issues you want to address. Go HERE for some program theme ideas.
BUILD A COMMUNITY
Connect with your public library, community groups, faith-based institutions or other local organizations to collaborate on your event and bring together a diverse audience. Keep the conversation going on social media or with additional events.
