Malik Smith Intern Program
The TEACHED internship program honors Malik Smith (1995-2004). Like too many students in America, Malik was labeled as learning disabled at a very young age. But thanks to a great school and teacher, he was able to realize his intelligence and ability before he tragically died of pneumonia at the tender age of eight.
Producer/Director Kelly Amis, who was Malik's "big sister," dedicates the entire film project to him.
